Raphinha continued his exceptional performance in the second half, scoring Barcelona’s fifth goal with remarkable skill. The Brazilian forward outmanoeuvred Aurelien Tchouameni before placing the ball into the bottom corner with exceptional technical ability.
Real Madrid showed their characteristic determination when Rodrygo scored from a free-kick following a red card to Barcelona’s goalkeeper, Wojciech Szczesny, for a foul on Mbappe. The dismissal occurred near the hour mark, reducing Barcelona to 10 players for the remainder of the match.
Despite playing with reduced numbers, Barcelona maintained their advantage until the final whistle, delivering the first trophy under their current management while leaving their rivals to contemplate a disappointing evening in this prestigious competition and against their fiercest rivals.
