Royal Father Canvasses Support To Check Insecurity

The Nigeria Police Force has been urged to collaborate with traditional rulers in its effort to check insecurity in the country and nip it in the bud.

A royal father in Enugu State, Igwe Aniagu made the call in Abuja, when he paid a courtesy visit to the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu.

Igwe Aniagu stressed the need for all traditional rulers in all local governments in the country to be carried along in checking the spate of insecurity and ensuring national security.

He explained that a grassroots security development initiative is the best solution to ending cases of insecurity and criminal activities in the country.

The Police boss thanked the royal father and his entourage for the visit and promised to look into the proposal in other to enhance national security. VON
