Revenue Drive: Bello Sacks KIRS Boss, Appoints Abubakar Acting Head

Yahaya Bello, Governor of Kogi State

 

The Kogi State governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has approved the immediate sack of the Chairman of the Kogi state Government Internal Revenue Service, Aliyu Nda Salami over poor performance.

This followed the dissolution of the Interim Management of Kogi State Government Internal Revenue Service (KGIRS) by the governor.

A statement by the Secretary to Kogi State Government, Dr. Mrs Folashade Arike Ayoade which was made available to journalists in Lokoja on Thursday, announced the governor’s approval of an Acting Chairman, Yusufu Abubakar to head the KGIRS.

Bello thanked the Interim Management for their service as he congratulates the new Acting Chairman for his appointment.

The appointment and termination is with effect from 31st, December, 2020.
