The Plateau State Command of the Nigeria Police Force has again restated its commitment to make the state safe from crime and criminals.
Commissioner of Police in the state, Isaac Akinmoyede made this known at the Command headquarters in Jos while parading suspected crime syndicates operating within Jos and its environs, during the week.
According to him the arrest of the suspects led to “the recovery of arms, ammunition and other unlawful implements used by them in their unlawful trade.”
Those paraded included one Abdulsalam Adams ‘m’ of Gadan Sogai at Congo Area of Jos North LGA of Plateau State, Gabriel Emmanuel ‘m’, aged 38years, Joseph Dawenn, ‘m’, 19 years, Samuel Vidap Mangs, ‘m’, aged 25 years.
Others are Bamshak Mark ‘m’ aged 24 years, and David James ‘m’, aged 19 years and one David Timothy ‘m’ aged 18 years who was arrested for cultism and illegal possession of fire arms.
The suspects, according to the CP, would be charged to court as soon as investigation is completed.
