About 200 head of cows that were rustle by bandits have been returned to their owners in Kadarko District of Wase Local Government.
The traditional institution in Plateau State which investigated the complaints of herders and ensured the cows were recovered and turned to the real owners vowed to curb the activities of bandits and cattle rustlers in the District.
Head of the Distrcit, HRH Ponzhi Kadarko Lot Nden assured all citizens in the areas to go to sleep with their eyes closed, adding that the institution was battle ready to fish out bad eggs in the district.
Speaking in an exclusive interview ,Nden lamented that some group of miscreants in Wase LGA constituted themselves into nuisance to rustle people cows .
He said; “We are going to partner with security agencies to get rid of these criminal elements and miscreants whose stock in trade is perpetrate heinous crime in our communities.
He disclosed that following the ongoing banditry ravaging Wase LGA some group of Fulani now embark on cattle rustling by selling the animals to neighboring communities at a very cheaper rate .
HRH chief Lot Nden vowed that he not allowed any break down of Law and order in his Chiefdom hence he embarked on recovering the cattle from the rustlers and the buyers and handing them over to the security operatives.
He advised the Fulani to live in peace with their host communities ,saying attempt break down of law an order will not be welcome .
Nden challenged the leadership of the herders in Wase LGA Fulani to imbibe the spirit of tolerance by strengthening peaceful co-existence amongst all ethnic nationality residents in the land.
HRH cautioned against land grabbers who activities was also giving the chieftaincy a cause for worry,
