The Buhari Campaign Organisation (BCO), on Wednesday, accused the political opposition of “politicising and instigating,” Nigerians over security issues” and urged them to desist from that path that may end wrecking havoc on the country .

The National Coordinator of (BCO), Alhaji Danladi Pasali, in a statement said, the unfortunate killing of innocent persons and destruction of properties in some parts of Borno State, by Boko Haram, is not only condemnable but it is an act of inhumanity against God’s will.
“However, in as much as we condemned the act, we must also strike the balance, by urging disparate politicians to halt their politicisation of security issues to the detriment of the citizens” he said.
Mr. Pasali said, the “booing,” of President Muhammadu Buhari’s convoy by some youths in parts of Maiduguri on Wednesday was clearly a politically sponsored gimmick by the PDP, as the party had prior knowledge that the President was billed to visit the state for an on the spot assessment and commiserations over the unfortunate incidents that recently happened.
He said: “Just to remind the PDP and its few sponsored youths stationed along Ramat Polytechnic, that their inability to judiciously utilised the common wealths of Nigerians in fighting insurgency, which they rather turned more than $2bn, among others to electioneering in the past, is the repercussions of what is obtainable now.”
The BCO said, and just like Gov. Zulum, has said that he was, “so surprised that we have forgotten the past,” where, “about 20 LGAs were resettled under Buhari,”. They also said besides Borno State, the people of Kano, Bauchi, Yobe, Adamawa and even Plateau States, will justifiably attests to the fact that Buhari’s administration has done fairly well to curtail the spite of bombings and killings of lives and destructions of properties.
“To us patriotic Nigerians, we will not derive any pleasure that our president or his convoy was booed, rather it is the unpatriotic, bad ones among us that do not have the country and the innocent people at heart, that would do so,” he said.
