Olota’s Reign, Peaceful, Inspiring says Gov. Abiodun

 

 

The Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has lauded the contributions of the Olota of Ota, Prof Adeyemi Obalanlege, Lanlege Ekun II as a monarch who inspires his people to be committed to develop the State.

In a letter dated 17th June and personally signed by the Governor and addressed to the traditional ruler, Gov Abiodun described Oba Obalanlege as a passionate monarch who is committed to peace and harmony in the State.

In a statement, Mr Kunle Somorin, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor said Abiodun eulogised the professor of Mass Communication turned monarch in a congratulatory message to the revered monarch on the occasion of his coronation anniversary holding in the town this weekend.

“Kabiyesi, it is an indisputable fact that the first year of your reign, Ota has witnessed unprecedented development in all areas, and it has also enjoyed peace and harmony among the inhabitants”

The governor also acknowledged the traditional ruler’s “unwavering commitment and strong passion for the continued development of Aworiland and our dear State (Ogun) in general,” the State Governor noted.

Governor Abiodun said the state government joins “you (the monarch), your royal family and the entire people of Awori, in celebrating your prosperous reign on the throne.

“It is my prayer that Almighty God will continue to preserve you for many more years and grant you good health, so that you can continue to to remain a source of inspiration to your subject and Aworiland in general,” Gov. Abiodun concluded.
