Obi. “I Will Explore All Legal Means To Reclaim My Mandate”

The presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the February 25, 2023 Presidential election Peter Obi, in a press conference in Abuja claim that he won the election and would explore all legal means to reclaim his mandate.

According to him, the LP has the true results that showed he won the election convincingly and would contest the outcome in the law court alongside his Vice-Presidential candidate, Datti Ahmed.

He said: “Labour Party won the election, and I will prove it. We will explore all legal and peaceful option to reclaim our mandate. We won the election, and we will prove it to Nigeria. The court exists for this, and they have asked me to go to court and I will be going to court. 

“We will work for that new Nigeria that is possible Datti and I remain committed to that new Nigeria”, he said.

Obi who started the press conference with the observation of a one-minute silence for all the injured and those who died as a result of violence during the poll, thanked millions of his young followers and supporters popularly called ‘Obidient” and promised to reclaim his “his mandate.”

 

In attendance at the briefing were the party’s National Chairman, Julius Abure and the Director-General of Obi’s presidential campaign, Akin Osuntokun.
