A coalition of Southwest indigenes, the Southwest Agenda (SWAGA), has embarked on a campaign to produce the next Nigerian President with a keen interest in the National Leader of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, as their most preferred candidate to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.

The Chairman Planning Committee of SWAGA, Senator Dayo Adeyeye, who led members of the committee to the Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Saliu Adetunji and the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III for Royal blessing, said the purpose of the visit is to engineer peaceful co-existence among the people, unity and fairness to the people across the country, which will naturally lead to development in the country.

While appealing to the people of Southwest to remain focused, Senator Adeyeye noted that the Southwest must plan to work unanimously as a team and avoid working at cross-purposes for easy human resources management through quality education which the region is known for.
