The Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps ( NSCDC), Kogi State Command said it has secured a judgement against one Richard John Abdullahi for illegal possession of firearm.
According to the Command Public Relations Officer, Alex Agiri, the officers nabbed the culprit was nabbed during routine patrol at the weekend in Lokoja, the Kogi state capital
“Richard Abdulahi was caught with illegal firearm in his possession as he could not produce relevant documents to back up his claim and after thorough investigation he was arraigned at the Federal High Court Lokoja for prosecution.”
According to the release, the presiding Judge, Justice D. U. Okorowo however sentenced the culprit Mr. John Abdullahi to one year and six months imprisonment with hard labour.
