Kanu Nwankwo Hails Minister, Pauline Tallen

The ex- Nigerian International and Super Eagles striker, Kanu Nwanko, has congratulated and expressed his confidence in the capability of Dame Pauline Tallen, who was Wednesday sworn in as Minister of Women Affairs by President Muhammadu Buhari and be given portfolios today.
Kanu who paid Tallen a courtesy call at her home in Abuja yesterday, commended her selection as minister by Mr. President and eulogized her doggedness in the pursuit of her political career, contribution to nation building and consolidation of democracy in Nigeria, and for being a shinning example to the women folk in patriotism, hard work and motherhood.
The ex Super Eagles star said he met Dame Pauline Tallen 15 years ago, and because of her goodness to him, and the countless good things he heard about her propelled him to come and congratulate her, with the promise of supporting her to succeed in ministry
  Kanu admonished her aides to exhibit high sense of loyalty to Tallen, be patriotic and to be of good character as only such attitude would guarantee a bright future for them.
In her response, Tallen thanked him for the eulogies and confidence reposed in her, and promised to put in her best to justify her appointment.
