The celebratory messages that cost Muazu Magaji his commissioner job
Governor Umar Ganduje on Saturday relieved his State Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Muazu Magaji, of his job.
Magaji could not hide his joy when he received the news of the death of the Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, Abba Kyari.
Magaji had while reacting to Kyari’s death in a Facebook post said Nigeria was now free.
According to him, Abba Kyari had so much power that he decided the fate of Nigerians.
On the pages he said among other, “There is a world of difference between a good person and a good leader. Leadership is an aggregated quality of mass empathy and personal favours.
However, reacting angrily, President Muhammadu Buhari’s aide on new media, Bashir Ahmad criticized Magaji, for his statement.
Shortly after Bashir’s criticism, Ganduje sacked the commissioner.
