The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that candidates registered for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) can now print their examination notification slips.
A statement signed on Thursday by the Board’s Public Communication Adviser, Fabian Benjamin, urged candidates to print their slips promptly to confirm their examination date, venue, and time before the day of the examination schedule to commence on April 16, 2026.
Benjamin explained that candidates can access their notification slips by visiting the board’s official website, www.jamb.gov.ng, and selecting the “2026 UTME Slip Printing” option.
He encouraged students to print their slips early and familiarise themselves with their designated examination centres to avoid last-minute inconveniences on the day of the examination.
Noting that each candidate has been assigned a specific examination schedule, Benjamin advised students to arrive at their centres ahead of time to allow for proper screening and accreditation.
“Arriving early ensures that candidates can settle in comfortably and avoid unnecessary stress before the commencement of their examinations,” he noted.
Highlighting the board’s commitment to integrity, Benjamin revealed that enhanced security measures have been implemented for the 2026 UTME to curb examination malpractice.
He cautioned both candidates and examination centre operators against any form of misconduct, stressing that strict sanctions would be applied against violators.
