Pastor Adeboye leads prayer march of members and officials of the Church in Lagos
Against the backdrop of 3-day fasting and prayer session declared by by the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, as part of its protest against perceived killings of Christians by Boko Haram terrorists, The Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCGG on Sunday organised a peaceful, prayer march in the country, led by its General Oversea, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye. The Church had announced the march would start at 10 am in all its Parishes across the country.
The aim of the peaceful, prayer march was to against “evil doers, wickedness in the land, kidnapping, banditry, and an end to the spate of insecurity and killings in Nigeria.”
Adeboye, reportedly led the Lagos end of the walk from Ebute Meta to Atan Cemetery in Yaba metropolis and back. The inscription on his placard reads, “All souls are precious to God”
In Port Harcourt, the peaceful, prayer match took place at Boro Park until late in the evening. I many parishes across the country, the local pastor lead and members followed from the rear and behind.
