The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Hon. Musa Agah of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) winner of the Bassa/Jos North Federal Constituency Election conducted on Saturday, 25th February, 2023.
The INEC returning officer, Prof. Josiah Wutiyil, pronounced that according to the results collected across the Bassa Jos North the following candidate, Musa Agah Avia scored 87, 609 to defeat the candidate of the PRP Hon Muhammad Alkali who scored 67, 331.
Plateau state Resident Electoral Commission, REC, Dr. Oliver Agundu commended citizens for turning out to exercise their franchise and disclosed that though there were challenges with logistics, the commission will improve in subsequent election.
He solicits maximum cooperation from all and sundry for the Commission for a successful conduct of the March 11th, 2023 governorship, and Houses of Assembly elections.
