Maj Gen U A Yusuf and Maj Gen D H Alikeffi
The General Officer Commanding (GOC) 8 Division Nigerian Army, Sokoto and Force Commander operation Hadarin Daji, Maj Gen UA Yusuf and the GOC 1 Division, Maj Gen DH Alikeffi, have met at Headquarters 1 Division Kaduna to discuss operational issues along their common boundaries.
The GOC’s discussion focused on how to tackle wide range of security challenges within their Area of Responsibility and harmonise strategies on their operational plans to achieve great success.
The Chief of Army Staff, Maj Gen Faruk Yahaya had challenged all the GOC’s to redouble their efforts to bring the current security situations across the country to a logical conclusion.
The criminality of banditry and kidnapping is a common security problem in the Areas of Responsibility of the two divisions.
