A devastating explosion occurred at the Trans-Niger Pipeline in Bodo, Gokana Local Government Area of Rivers State on Monday night.
The explosion has sparked a raging fire on a section of the pipeline which transports crude to the Bonny Terminal.
The exact cause of the incident remains unknown at the time of this report.
The incident came after militants threatened to attack oil installations over the political crisis in Rivers State.
