

The food items donated by Reps Wase to state Covid-19 team in Jos South LGA on Tuesday

Representative Idris Ahmad Maje Wase has presented relief materials as palliatives to the Plateau state Covid-19 team headed by Deputy Governor, Prof Sunny Tyoden
Hon Wase, who made the donations on Tuesday at the Bukuru expressway in Jos South Local Government Council of the state
He acknowledged the positive contributions of the state government towards mobilizing human and material resources to control the pandemic, saying the donation was part of his contribution to assist the government provide succour for the citizens.
According to him ,”I belief that this palliative measures would go along way to ensure that people can’t feel the impact of covid-19 measures put in place by the government” and urged the people to support the government by observing the health protocols such as hand washing, social distancing. He was represented by represented by his senior legislative aide, Alh Mohammed Musa Nyalun.
The Deputy Governor Prof Sunny Tyoden applauded the “former duty speaker for his positive contributions to the progress of the people of Plateau state.”
He charged other lawmakers to emulate the kind gesture of Hon Maje and promised the team would be transparent in the distribution of this and other palliatives measures being taken to assist all communities in the state.
The items included trailer loads of 600 bags of rice , 500, cartons of Maggi cube ,500, cartons of golden penny spaghetti, 500 bags of refined an iodized salt and 2000 tubers of medium sized yams.
