Former Plateau State presidential Campaign Coordinator of the All Progressives Congress in the 2015 poll, Hon Alex Kwapnoe has urged Nigerians to begin the restructuring of the country with the change of attitude and disorderly behaviour that is contributing to the current economic hardship.
Speaking to a session of journalists at Atiku Street, Rayfield in Jos South Local Government Area of the Plateau State, Kwapnoe congratulated the current government on the achievements recorded in the areas of security, electricity and efforts to pay salary to workers.
Rooting for the adoption of a common language coupled with the a new mindset that is patriotic as sure bet to solve the country’s crisis, he called for the redrafting of the country’s criminal laws which were left untouched since 1966 as well as the improvement of the wages for the police to insulate them from being compromised by offenders.
Kwapnoe who is a former Commissioner for Urban Development emphasised that the APC government has improve the agricultural sector to the point that foodstuff would soon become affordable for all and sundry and the change mantra would have gone down to the level of the market man and women.
While calling for the need to address the security challenges posed by the herdsmen and the setting up of special courts to try high profile corruption cases, he blasted those he called political harlots who have smuggle themselves into APC to cause unnecessary problem and urged President Buhari to stop recycling some of them, adding that “for some of us who fought to install APC, he is too slow to take decisive actions”
