Atiku Mourns loss of Mohammed Fawehinmi

The former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar said he received with shock and sadness reports of the passing away of Mohammed Fawehinmi, son of revered human rights activist, late Gani Fawehinmi (SAN).
The former Vice President in a statement paid glowing  tribute to Mohammed for having worked tirelessly to fill the huge gap created by the death of Gani in his selfless service to humanity.
He siad; “It is undeniable that the loss of Mohammed is a hurt to the law profession and especially the civil society space, which has become a lifetime commitment of the Fawehinmis”, said his media advser, Mazi Paul Ibe
He said Atiku expressed his deepest condolences to the  Fawehinmi family, particularly its matriarch, Mrs Ganiat Fawehinmi.
“The Waziri of Adamawa prays for strength and comfort to the family at this difficult moment. He also prays that the Almighty Allah shall heal the family and grant Mohammed a peaceful repose.”
