A Plateau state House of Assembly aspirant on the platform of All Progressive Congress, APC, Hon. Nanbol Josiah Gommam has emphasized the need to encourage the economic well-being of women and youth empowerment as nest option to regain the loss glory of the Tarok land and the state.
In an interview with this medium, he said his reasons for joining the race for the seat of Langtang Central constituency was time to canvass bills that would speed up the economy of his state constituency if given the mandate to preside over affairs of Langtang Central in the 10th House of Assembly in 2023. Stating that as a Nigerian private security expert with vast experience in organizing and managing various private security outfits, he has what it takes to fulfil his promise for his constituency and the state.
Harped on his over two decades of experience in management and entrepreneurship, during which he brokered numerous agreements which have produced a win-win outcome for all stakeholders, he sees himself as an effective consensus builder and an honest broker enjoying the trust and confidence of business organizations and other stakeholders within and without the state.
He disclosed that Langtang Central constituency needs an experience technocrat who would transform the rural communities into a suburban with prioritized education of children, potable drinking water to vulnerable areas and skills acquisition to many others in the constituency .
As a well-trained and skillful security practitioner, Nanbol Josiah Gommam’s core areas of specialization cover three basic certifications obtained and awarded by Asis Board certification which Include but not limited to the following: Certified Protection Professional (CPP); Professional Certified Investigator (PCI) and Physical Security Professional (PSP).
Gommam observed that the visions and policies so far espoused by the current administration within its short time is a clear attestation of how a man with a blueprint of his destination can impact the soiceity meaningfully.
He commended the governor Simon Lalong, and the All Progressive Congress ,APC, for the passion and drive for human capital development initiatives which he said are as the factors making economic progress clearly visible in Plateau State.
He said that ” It is these ideals that are being translated into economic policies and the policies into administrative initiatives which are now yielding fruitful results for all to see in state today.
“It covers areas ranging from asset protection, guards and contract management, investigation and ethical standard at work place, as well as physical security measures aimed at fortifying the facility and the environment of business operation.”
