2023: APC Expecting Defectors from Highly Placed Politicians, Says Chairman

The Chairman of the Plateau State chapter of the All Progressive Congress (APC) , Hon Rufus Bature said the party has concluded arrangement to reconcile all the aggrieved members and to foster unity ahead of the 2023 general election.

Hon .Bature made disclosure during the oath taking ceremony of the state Exco of the APC held at the secretariat in Ewarewah complex Zarmaganda of Miango Junction on Monday in Jos.  Bature noted that the APC is expecting more defections of highly placed Nigerians into APC and maintained that the party was positioned to sweep all seats in the 36 states of the federation.

He said the new exco would reconcile all aggrieved members and also recruit more members into the fold of the APC in Plateau state as the party has introduced fresh ideas towards handling the progress of the state chapter.

According to him ,the party exco would soon embark on tours across the 17 LGAs to build confidence among members and ensure trust amongst the factional groups that emerged following disaffection over the outcome of the recent APC primaries in the state .

Bature explained further that the party has mapped outa  strategy of people how to go about electioneering campaign that would be all inclusive, including those who are willing to join the APC. .

Rufus emphasized that the APC in Plateau state would resolve any crises and ensure that the hard work behind the victory of the APC is sustained with the governor providing purposeful leadership that is gradually transforming the state .

Bature charged the APC supporters to put behind the outcome of the bye- election of Jos North/Bassa federal constituency that the defeat won’t affect the party by calling on supporters to kickstart building bridges of unity to retain the governorship in the state.

“We have provided credible leadership as we promises.  The desired party Exco to move the APC forward ,as urges them to be foot soldiers across their respective wards and councils to achieve the desire results .
