Tottenham vs Watford, 1-1

Dele Alli saves Spurs from humiliation by a winless and bottom palce Watford

Unbelievable. With the statistics of 70 per cent ball possession and home support, Spurs almost fell to a more dodged but winless Watford side, which opened scoring in the 6th min through what is becoming a typical play by Spurs; a long cross from Watford’s Cathcart found Janmaat who beat Ross with a first touch before he put a cross to Doucoure who was waiting unmarked. He simply tapped the ball pass Gazzaniga. And before half time, the creative visitors got a penalty that VAR overruled. Son Heung-mi’s effort at resumption of play hit the woodwork. They kept the pressure at during a mix up in the Watford defence   Dele Alli found the chance to find the net. He saved the day for Spurs in the 86th min. nWatford is at the bottom of the table

Villa vs Brighton, 2-1.

Jack Grealish opens scoring for Villa in the 45+2 min

It took a great last minute goal from Tragett after Grealish made a solo effort through the left and found him unmarked in the box. Targett simply turned and fired into the top right corner at the 90+ 5 min. Brighton had taken the lead in the 21st min through a header but they had to succumb to the fire power of the home side in a match in which both sides were equally matched.

Ausburg vs Bayern Munich 2-2

Ausburg surprised 30 seconds goal through a defensive header by Khedira, which Ritcher pounced on, was a smart move by the home side though the defending champions recovered in the 15 min through who else but talismanic Lewandowski in the 15 min. At resumption of play, Bayern made it 2-1 through winger Gnarby. Ausburg again pulled another surprise at the 90+1 min through a Alfred Finnbogason effort with a Carova assist.

Celtic vs Rose County, 6-0

Chelsea vs Newcastle, 1-0

 Eiba vs Barcelona, 0-3

Greizman in a run- off play early goal  for Barca

Barcelona claimed the top spot after early, mid and late away goals from the trio of Antoine Griezmann, Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez, over Eiba

Griezmann’s was against the run of play with low past goalkeeper Marko Dmitrovic. Suarez, who has been on fire this season, would have made it two if referee allowed an earlier; it was ruled off-side. But he got a goal in the 66th min for his efforts through a Messi assist. The victory took Barca to the top of the table with 19 points to 18 for Real Madrid. Madrid has a match in hand with relegation bound Mallorca later in the day

Leicester vs Burnley, 2 -1

Leicester observes minute silence for late chairman Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha before kick-off

Leicester, despite all their possession, have not managed a shot on target and they are punished by a much more clinical Burnley side as Dwight McNeil superbly finds Wood with a looping cross and the striker cushions a header over the keeper and into the net. Vardy, predictably, replied at the close of the half. Then in the 75th min and unmarked Youri Tielemans wasted no time to fire into the net a ball that came through the right.
