The Obidient Movement has planned its 2025 Southwest conference for Lagos, Lagos State.
Comrade March Oyinki, a member of the National Advisory Council of the Obidient Movement, also representing the Supporting Advisory Council in the SW Conference 2025 Organizing Committee, said the theme of the conference is “Grassroots Sensitisation — Information is Power.”
He said this is part of ongoing sensitization efforts by the Movement to create awareness in various regions of the country.
The conference is scheduled for Saturday, 26th April, 2025 at the Balmoral Event Hall, 98 Kudirat Simbiat Abiola Way, Ojodu, Ikeja.
The keynote address is titled – “Empowering the Grassroots Through Information” to be delivered by H.E Mr Peter Obi himself, and supported by Dr Tanko Yunusa and Barrister Dele Farotimi.
“We are not just organizing a conference, it is an occasion to embrace all our members in the South West and welcome everyone onboard the newly created Obidient Structure under the esteem leadership of Dr. Tanko Yunusa, the National Coordinator of the Movement. It is a fun filled event and there will be no dull moments as guests will be entertained by top local artists, comedy performances and DJ to stir up the audience.
“It is an open event and entry is free to all Obidients, Supporters, and the general public from all the South West States. You can not afford to miss the exciting red carpet photo opportunities with the cream la cream of the Obidient Movement, ” Mr Oyinki said, adding that
“A new Nigeria is Possible! We agree!’
