A former Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps, Brigadier General Maharazu Tsiga (rtd) has been abducted along with several others by bandits who attacked the Tiga community in the Bakori local government area of Katsina State.
Residents said the rampaging armed men invaded the community at about 12.30am on Thursday.
While authorities in Katsina have yet to issue any statement on the attack, the residents said security operatives have been deployed to rescue the victims.
