For being rated as the most committed Transition Implementation Committee in Plateau State, Chairman of Riyom Local Government Council in Plateau State, Hon. Sati Bature Shuwa has bagged a prestigious ambassadorial award by the Africa Integrity Development & Promotion Foundation (AIDPF).
President / BoT Chairman of AIDPF International Supreme Council, Comr Henry Jadike Alkali Snr. said the wards was a way of recognizing his exceptional drive despite the challenges of leadership.
The President of AIDPF also doubles as the Deputy Chairman, Arewa Consultative Forum, ACF Plateau State Chapter
Previously before this edition, there were a few outstanding others from the University of Jos, traditional leaders in some parts of Jos- North, Jos-South as well as Divisional Police Officers (DPOs), within the Nigeria Police Force (NPF), Plateau State Police Divisional Stations in Plateau State.
“Sati Bature Shuwa,” was nominated and confirmed as an exceptional, visionary and dynamic leader that stood out firmly for the emancipation of Nigeria, Plateau State, and his people while exercising his mandate as the Transition Implementation Committee Chairman of Riyom Local Government Council, Plateau State.” The group said in it’s citation.
“He is a name to be reckoned with in modern African history for his outstanding performance in supporting the cause of sustainable peaceful coexistence of all mankind by way of galvanizing Security forces to fight against terrorism, banditry and insurgency in Riyom LGA, and thereby discouraging corruption at the local government levels for a crime free society.”
He was also commended for empowering the youths with necessary tools to be self -employed, supporting the masses by paying their hospital bills from his own personal pocket and other voluntary method of assisting the less privileged
He single handedly took a multimillion Naira project that ushered the solar system light to the streets of Riyom LGA, building modern standard schools, hospitals, water way bridges and changing the narrative by bringing the politics of hope against cynicism in Plateau State, and Nigeria at large.
Alkali snr applauded Hon. Sati Bature Shuwa who has demonstrated some high level of honesty, accountability, discipline and excellence by contributing positively in rehabilitating various sectors of Plateau State economy in Nigeria.
Hon. Sati Bature Shuwa, possessed an impressive legendary legacy record that reflects a high profile commitment, loyalty and dedication to charity that preceded his leadership mandate which have made him earn a world class commendation in the official nomination letter of the United Nations International Peace & Governance Council that proposed to honor him as UN-IPGC Peace & Humanitarian Ambassador of the year 2024.
Hon. Sati Bature Shuwa was born on the 2nd day of February, 1964. He hails from Jol Community of Riyom District, Riyom LGA, Plateau State.
Hon. Sati Bature Shuwa is a dedicated and devoted Christian, married and blessed with seven children.
Hon. Sati Bature Shuwa in his academic journey, attended the following schools:
1. Ekan Primary School Jol where he obtained First School Leaving Certificate.
2. Government Secondary School Langtang and Government Secondary School Ungwan Mailafiya where he obtained Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE).
4. School of Nursing and Midwifery Vom where he obtained General Certificate in Nursing.
5. National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) where he obtained Bachelor of Nursing Science (BNSC).
Hon. Sati Bature Shuwa has also attended several seminars, workshops, trainings and leadership trainings all in effort to build his career and leadership skills.

Hon. Sati Bature Shuwa has held several leadership position including Speaker of the Parliament of College of Nursing Vom and State Electoral Officer, National Association of Nurses and Midwives
Hon. Sati Bature Shuwa was one time Secretary General of National Association of Berom Nurses & Midwives, President Press Club, College of Nursing Vom, Represented Plateau State at the National Sports Festival, Caretaker President of the National Association of Berom Nurses &Midwives, Leader of Legislative Arm of Riyom LGA and currently the Chairman, Transition Implementation Committee of Riyom LGA, Plateau State.
