Victoria Island,Gwagwalada and Yenagoa Area offices bags Awards of Outstanding Performance of ITF 2023

As part of sustained efforts to motivate staff for maximum service delivery, the Industrial Training Fund – ITF) presented awards of outstanding performance to Area Offices, Training Centres, long serving staff and others during its 2023 Merit Award Ceremony.

The Victoria Island, Gwagwalada and Yenagoa Area Offices received the Awards for Best Area Office in Revenue Generation for categories A, B, C while the Industrial Skills Training Centre (ISTC), Ikeja emerged as Best Performing Training Centre among the Five Training Centres of the Fund.

The event, which held at the Itf Headquarters recently, had in attendance staff from all the Area Offices and dignitaries across the state and federation.

For outstanding performances in Training Activities and Best Performing Area Offices in year 2023, Isolo, Ibadan and Aba Area Offices received the awards for categories A, B and C respectively.

The Awards for overall Best in Training Activities and Best Performing Area Office were received by Isolo Area Office.

Other Awards were the Best Contributing Employer in Human Resource Development for Abuja, Jos and Lagos zones, received by Natsat Power Company Ltd, Plateau State Revenue Board, Grand Cereals Ltd, Wema Bank and First Bank.

Staff of the Fund that had served for 15, 25 and 30 years were also presented with Long Service Award.

In his speech before the awards, the Director-General of the ITF, Dr. Afiz Ogun Oluwatoyin, said it was an event he had looked forward to being the first he would be attending as the DG ITF.

He said the event was significant to him as it provided him with opportunity to interact with the generality of ITF workforce and stakeholders on the Plateau.
