With few weeks to the upcoming presidential poll, the Obi-Datti Support Groups Conveners’ Council has held its first outing on February 8, 2023 with a One-Day Interactive/Sensitization Session.
The event which held at the PCC Campaign Council Auditorium in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT Abuja, and convened by Comrade Oscar Nereus, Chairman of the Obi-Datti Conveners’ Council had on its agenda Polling Unit Management, Polling Unit Canvassers and Role of Technology in Polling Unit Monitoring.
Present at the sensitization session, which was mostly for Conveners were some top-ranking members of the council and three keynote speakers, namely Engr. G.B. Gambo, Chairman, Polling Unit Compilation and Verification Committee, Comrd. Akin Oshuntokun, Labour Party Presidential Campaign Director General and Mazi Emeka Patrick Ude, Chairman, Mobilization and Resource Committee.
Also in attendance were the Labour Party and Presidential Campaign Council leadership.
Barr Emeka Nwani, Deputy Convener, Movement for Change Worldwide (MFCW) as well as its National Secretary, and Barr. Anthony Osawaru, who also doubled as the Council’s secretariat for the event.
