Alert For Those Leaving in Abule-Soba Area In Lagos State

Abule-Soba was the scene of a March 15,2020 pipeline explosion that killed 22  persons, displaced  225, 000 others
The Lagos State Emergency Management Agency has been informed of a major petroleum pipeline leakage at ABULE-SOBA.
The agency and other first responders remain on high alert. The NNPC has been informed of the incident.
Members of the public are cautioned to proceed with extreme caution in and around the area to prevent any form of explosion or ignition from naked flame.
Abule-Soba was the scene of a March 15, 2020 pipeline the explosion.
“Soba is an autonomous community under Amuwo Odofin Local Government Area of Lagos State.
“A whole family of four was wiped off after the incident and many are still receiving treatment in hospitals around the community. There was great destruction and damage of properties worth over 30 billion Naira, which include over 350 houses, schools, vehicles and markets,” said the Baale of the community. 225.000 people were reportedly displaced after the fire outbreak and 22 killed.
