The Management Committee Chairman of Barkin Ladi Local Government Council, Barr Ezekiel Mandyau has promised to tour four districts in Barkin Ladi which were affected by communal disputes in other to restore peace.
The Chairman in a statement made available to our medium, disclosed that the affected districts include, Gashish, Ropp, Fan, Foron and Heipang, which would be visited on November 5 between 10 am and 4pm
He employed the people of Barkin Ladi to give the team an overwhelming support as issues of security of lives and properties will be discuss with all the stakeholders of the areas with solution to the lingering crisis as topmost priority.
Barr. Ezekiel Mandyau called for calm and understanding among the people of the council because his administration had demonstrated willingness to tackle herders /farmers conflict to reduce rate of attacks.
Mandyau stated that the tour, billed for the November 4 and 5 would have in audience the following stakeholders: Traditional Rulers, Religious Leaders, Youth Leaders, Women Leaders and other stakeholders
He appealed to all the residents in the Council to be ambassador of peace by supporting the peace-building efforts of the Governor Simon Lalong led administration
