Reps member representing Mikang, Shendam and Quan-paan constituency, Hon. Komsol Alphonsus has assured his constituency in Plateau State of sponsored bills that would alleviate their problems, particularly flooding that has ravaged farmlands and left many homeless
Komsol disclosed this in an interview with journalists at his private residence in Jos South LGA on Thursday shortly after paying a visit to the areas to donate relief materials.
According to him the bills, when passed into law would lead to the establishment of a Federal College of Agriculture at Namu, Quaanpan LGA , a Federation Polytechnic in Shendam LGA and the citing of a Federal Health Center in Piapun in Mikang Local Government.
He said his reason for sponsoring the bills is to help and reduce the sufferings the people of his constituency go through in terms of agricultural related institutions and an equipped medical health center.
“Those bills that l have presented, are those bill that are going to improve most especially the educational backwardness and the health facilities of our people within and outside the zone,” he said sounding optimistic that the bills would scale through because of the cooperation and understanding among lawmakers in the 9th NASS.
