Tax defaulters in Edo State whom the government felt have refused to show some measure of responsibility by paying their taxes will henceforth be handled by a team of lawyers working with staff of Edo State Internal Revenue Service, ESIRS.
In a statement notifying the citizens of the new arrangement, the management of ESIRS has signed an MoU with the “private legal practitioners in Edo State to work in alliance with the law officers of ESIRS to embark on vigorous prosecution of tax defaulters.”
