An international pageantry group, Face of Women of Heart Awards is set to go with its yearly activities of showcasing women of substance and values across the globe who have made impact in their choosing careers.
Under the international organisation named Women of Heart Foundation which was founded in 2018 and later gave way to FACE of WOHA in London, the yearly event holds in the UK capital and attracts international women leaders in politics, medicine, academics, law, entrepreneurship, acting, music, education, corporate world and other professional calling to contest for the FACE of WOHA or act as members of panel of jurors.
Dr Desziree Richardson, an amazon and iconic woman who inaugurated the award and created the foundation is known to be passionate about empowering women to find their voice, discover their purpose, and take their power back and stand in their greatness.
Richardson explained that the idea behind the project is a deliberate attempt to disrupt the paradigm associated with Female Beauty Pageants by giving voice to participants.
She disclosed that the enterprise openly invites women to participate and be crowned the Face of Women Heart Awards, adding that the finalists are selected for their rhetorical abilities and not beautiful facial qualities or body structure.
“I firmly believe every woman deserves a chance to shine in shape or form; that is why Face of Women Heart Awards will provide a first-class service designed to imbue the world with positive and powerful messages that can heal and empower the audiences . “ she stated.
The most exciting news, according to the founder, Dr Richardson, is that the Women of Heart Awards WOHA offers women a public speaking platform to share important messages and be the public Face of WOHA.
Women from any part of the world are said to be qualified to participate and also share the opportunity to become an ambassador and diversity awareness leaders.
Born and bred in Anguilla, British West Indies, Richardson specialised in public speaking as a thought leader, voice acting, event hosting, fashion and modelling.
In one of her favourite quotes, “Put love in all you do: When love wins, the world wins,” Dr Richardson has been living to her belief.
As a humanitarian with an entrepreneurial spirit, she has used FACE OF WOHA and WOHA to inspire more love and kindness in the world, celebrate those who are making a difference worldwide and transform many women by making them make their dreams come true.
Dr Desziree Richardson is a multi global award- winner, vibratory voice, International best-selling author, face model, a media personality and entrepreneur who is everything to many people who have ever been opportune to cross her part; too many; she stands for the love of humanity while others see her as an epitome of peace, compassion and humility.
Dr Richardson, the United Kingdom UK representative of the emerging African country, Birland State, was recently appointed as UK Ambassador to the United States Presidential Services and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, DEI, Chairperson for Rotary Club of Global Impact and International Honorary Distinguished Multicultural Advisor Board Member for FOWCAAS and many other appointments.
These honours and appointments were in recognition of her intimidating credentials and achievements recorded over the years as a generalist and experienced broadcaster, writer and broadcast journalist.
She has been co-hosting the international network interacting with women and sharing their stories in war-torn Ukraine.
Along with her media and celebrity career, she has been dedicated to helping people in need and has a passion for volunteering, philanthropy and community service.
As a previous Project Leader at the University of West London, her leadership and experience involved managing projects, volunteers, and teams and hosting events in the community, such as planting trees in Gunnersbury Park.
As part of community service, she volunteered her time teaching in Asia and completed projects to give back, such as the Sanitary Napkins campaign for young girls in Uganda and Kenya
She believes as humans, we should gather our good thoughts and deeds by accepting different cultures and religions in the workplace, society, and norms.
