Barca vs Napoli
Despite taking the match to their host early enough, Napoli could not covert leaving Barcelona to get the opener, and afterwards suffered from a punishing mesmerizing play that ended the game, 3-1, with a brace from Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Clement Lenglet who nodded in Ivan Rakitic’s corner for the first goal in the 20 minutes.?
Three minutes later when Luis Suarez shot was parried by the goalkeeper, Ivan Rakitic was on the spot to pass the ball to Messi who chested down and smashes home in the 23rd minutes.
Hope rose for Napoli when Lorenzo Insigne kistepped up to sweep the penalty kick beyond Marc-Andre ter Stegen’s left and Napoli bring the deficit down to two in the 45 minutes
Bayern vs Chelsea
Robert Lewandowski was, as usual on song for Bayern with a brace, from a penalty in the 10th minute and the winner, 83rd goal, and two Perisic in the 24th minutes and Tolisso in the 76th minute. Chelsea got a consolation goal through Tammy Abraham but haven lost 3-0 at home, the goal haul by Bayern made the 7-1 goal aggregate a drubbing. With this win, Bayern will meet Barca, who trounced Napoli at Nou Camp, in the quarter-final match.

More from Chelsea boss Frank Lampard, speaking to BT Sport: “They performed alright. Difficult to say after a 4-1 defeat, not happy but when you concede two early we did get back into the game after that.
“When you match our Champions League appearances to theirs, I saw lots of good things in the team and also some of the bad we have seen this season. We had individual errors that gave them goals and at this level that will finish you off.
“It is a work in progress. It is not the norm for Chelsea. We lost the best player in the league pretty much in Eden Hazard. People would not normally commend coming fourth for Chesea, we want more but the feeling is we have achieved something with the group we have. Now is the time to think where we can improve.”
On improving the squad: “We will look at that. We have worked at it already. You feel we missed where other clubs spent and improved. Recruitment is a huge part of football. Now is the time to see if we can improve and where we can improve.
“I feel like in a football sense I know where we can improve.”
Napoli boss Gennaro Gattuso believed beating Barcelona will be a mighty challenge, but was hopeful.
He said: “They are used to winning and I know that when you get used to winning you always want to do it. We have to climb Everest.
“In recent months I have heard many jokes, like ‘Barcelona are not in shape’, but if you go and watch them there are some players who put on a show.”
