Tunde Ayeni’s legal win leaves Adaobi Alagwu in a quiet retreat

In a major shift in position and a new twist to the paternity row involving Dr Tunde Ayeni and Adaobi Alagwu, the Abuja based lawyer and model reportedly confided in friends weeks back that she made some serious mistakes while dating the billionaire businessman.

Sources close to Ms Alagwu stated that she has remained heart broken since March this year when a Customary Court in Abuja ruled that her purported marriage to Dr Ayeni was invalid, and asserted that no marriage existed between the duo.

More damning was the fact that Dr. Ayeni successfully rubbished the earlier claims of Adaobi in respect of her claim that he (Dr. Ayeni) was the father of her daughter, Omorosa.

Dr. Ayeni’s assertion that the DNA results upon which the claim was made were fraudulent was so convincing, and Adaobi’s alleged refusal of a fresh DNA test in another centre leaves many wondering what she was hiding.

Adaobi’s close circle of friends hinted that the society lady truly regrets some alleged dalliances with some guys who were said to be close to Dr. Ayeni, while she was still in a relationship with the billionaire businessman.

“I think the court’s ruling and age have made her sober and contrite. She noted that she regretted her escapades and wished she had a second chance to correct them.”

“She’s particularly sad about the unfortunate media exposure that her innocent daughter has been exposed to as a result of her indiscretion and even told one of her friends that it may be difficult to blame Dr Ayeni as there is no man who will know what she did while their relationship was on and overlook them.

Our correspondent learnt that Dr. Ayeni has since moved on and has put the episode of Adaobi Alagwu behind him since March when the Abuja court made its ruling.
