The rearrested prisoner
Troops of Operation SAFE HAVEN deployed at Rarin-Shou Village in Barking Ladi, Plateau state, have rearrested Mallam Mohammed Ibrahim, one of the six inmates that escaped from the High Court at Barkin Ladi on Thursday, July 23 following a manhunt operation launched by OPSH to rearrest the escapees. The suspects were being arraigned at the court when they managed to escape
The rearrested criminal has since been handed over to the Nigerian Correctional Service Plateau State Command. Efforts are ongoing to rearrest the remaining ones.
According to Major Ibrahim Shittu Media Officer of OPSH anybody with useful information on any of the escaped inmates should please contact the nearest OPSH location or the Nigerian Police.
