In a move to strengthen leadership and enhance service delivery across government institutions, President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of four new Permanent Secretaries into the Federal Civil Service.
A statement from the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation confirmed that the newly appointed Permanent Secretaries are Warrens Bekearedebo Augusta from Bayelsa State, Jones-Nebo Nkiruka Bella from Enugu State, Aminu Sani Yargaya from Kano State, and Shoretire Ayinda Kamil from Ogun State.
The appointments, which fill existing vacancies in the Federal Civil Service, followed a rigorous and transparent selection process, ensuring that the candidates bring proven expertise and experience to their new roles.
Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Didi Esther Walson-Jack, congratulated the appointees, noting that their wealth of experience will be instrumental in driving efficiency, effectiveness, and accountability in public service.
“The new Permanent Secretaries bring with them a depth of experience and professional competence that will significantly strengthen public service delivery and support the government’s development agenda,” Walson-Jack said.
The appointments take immediate effect, signaling the administration’s commitment to proactive reforms and competent leadership within the Federal Civil Service.
