The All Progressives Congress (APC) on Thursday held a crucial National Caucus meeting at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja, bringing together President Bola Tinubu and other top party and government leaders.
Those in attendance included Vice President Kashim Shettima, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas, alongside APC governors, senior party officials and key members of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC).
Party sources said the high-level meeting was convened to review the state of the nation, assess recent political developments and outline strategic plans ahead of forthcoming electoral and governance engagements.
Discussions were expected to centre on strengthening internal party cohesion, consolidating grassroots structures nationwide and mobilising broader support for the Federal Government’s ongoing reform agenda.
According to party insiders, deliberations also covered governance priorities, national security, economic policies and measures aimed at boosting public confidence in the administration.
Details of resolutions and action points from the meeting are expected to be officially communicated to the public at the conclusion of deliberations.
