Tanbuwal Woos Kogi PDP Delegates to Vote Candidate that can Deliver the Party at the Polls

The Peoples  Democratic Party (PDP), presidential aspirant, Alhaji Aminu Waziri Tanbuwal has advised national delegates from Kogi state to ensure that they vote for credible candidate that can deliver the party during the general elections come 2023.

Tanbuwal who gave the advice in Lokoja on Monday while addressing Kogi PDP delegates, said that he has all it takes to facilitate overwhelming victory for the party.

The presidential aspirant promised that if given the mandate he will focus on security of lives and property of citizens as well as ensuring that the Ajaokuta steel project holds key to the nation’s economic and technological development, adding that the process toward achieving its reality must be by a President with the required political and other pedigrees.

He said apart from being an accomplished legal practitioner, his political experience which saw him emerged as Speaker, House of Representatives and now, a governor, his educational qualifications and International connection had put him on a higher advantage to make the project a reality.

The aspirant, who described Kogi state as a mini Nigeria with rich human and mineral resources, said he would use his adequate knowledge of the state, its social, economic and political atmosphere would enable him to fix the state and the country at large in accordance with the peoples’ aims and objectives.

He called on the delegates from the state to “shine their eyes” to choose for presidential election during the national convention and cap it up by electing him to ensure good governance to would enable him rebuild the country.

He said he would be a president that has the welfare of the workers and love of Nigerians at heart in the execution of projects with direct bearing on their social and economic life.

Tambuwal,w ho is the Governor of Sokoto state, said his administration did not owe workers salary, adding that pension was being paid as well.

In their comments,  two former Governors of Kogi State, Capt Idris Wada and Alhaji Ibrahim Idris, described Tambuwal as capable of leading Nigeria to the promise land,in view of enviable his track records in political and other spheres of life.

In his vote of thanks, the Chairman, Tambuwal Campaign Council, Sen.Tunde Ogbeha, described Tambuwal as having ticket that can win the forthcoming presidential election in the country.

” He is competent with adequate capacity and intellectually equipped to lead Nigeria in the next political dispensation. He is a bridge builder between the youth and the old,” Ogbeha said.

Our Correspondent recalls that three aspirants on the platform of PDP: Chief Nyesom Wike,Dr Bukola Saraki and the last, Tambuwal, have so far visited Kogi state in realising their political ambition in the convention that will involve 15 aspirants.
