The All Progressives Congress (APC) chairmanship candidate for Ohafia local government council has challenged his co-contestants to show the people their score cards of service to their communities.
Hon Kalu Mba Nwoke threw the challenge while addressing a campaign rally in Ohafia, saying “as a former councillor for Ohafor Ward 1 (Asaga Ukwu), I delivered on my campaign promises.”

Maintaining that his legacies in office were both in infrastructure development and services, he urged those in doubt about them to take a tour of the ward to see things for themselves.
He said the major co-contestants are people who in the past had found themselves in one good position or another which they could have used to better the lives of their people, but failed to do so.
According to the former deputy leader of the legislative council of the area, he has also been assisting indigent pupils, students, and unemployed youths across the area both financially and materially.
“This time around, I want to be in the driving seat of the council to continue with what I began at the ward level. This is why I have come to solicit your support. Cast your vote for me and leave the rest for me,”
He used the forum to reiterate the need for the Abia State Independent Electoral Commission (ABSIEC) to provide a plain playing field for the candidates irrespective of their different political party.
“The election is going to be an integrity test for the chairman of the commission, Prof Mkpa Agu Mkpa, who has held many public offices in the state including the vice-chancellorship of Abia State University, Uturu (ABSU).
