Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso has emerged the presidential candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP at a convention of the party held at the velodrome of Moshood Abiola stadium, Abuja on Wednesday.
The former Kano State governor and Minister of Defense was elected by voice vote by members as he was the only candidate of the party to which he defected from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, recently.
