Senator Karimi Promises Extending 300M Bursary Allowances To Indigent Students in Three Districts

Kogi West Senator, Sunday Karimi, has promised to extend his bursary allowance scheme of 300M to indigent students across the three Senatorial Districts of the state

Each of the three Senatorial District is to get 100M under his future plan bursary disbursement.

In October2024, Senator Karimi began his empowerment scheme with 1,000 indigent students of Kogi West in public tertiary institutions in the country

Senator Karimi while briefing journalists at a Parley on the journey so far in the last two years at the Senate, said that the package is designed to assist parents in cushioning their Children’s four years of suffering

“This programme under scores my commitment to education and we-being of my constituents

“Out of 3,418 eighty-five, were carefully selected from their wards with at least 10 beneficiaries from each ward

Karim disclosed that water and electricity projects, facitating employment opportunities for numerous individual across Ministries,MDAs as well as Military and Paramilitary Services were also attended to

He also intervened in road infrastructure to rebuild collapsed Pakuta Bridge as relief to road users, business in Kiri-Bnuland

Other projects as enumerated include; distribution of electricity transformers, efforts to reduce insecurity in Kogi West through Building of Military Forward Operating Base for Nigerian Army and among other numerat to mention.
