
Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has signed the 2025 budget of N3.366 trillion into law.
The governor gave his assent on Thursday at the State House, Alausa, Ikeja.
Sanwo-Olu had on November 21 presented a budget estimate of N3,005,935,198,401 to the state House of Assembly.
The lawmakers however passed the appropriation Bill on January 6.
Christened ‘Budget of Sustainability’, and aimed to address infrastructure, economic diversification, and other critical sectors in the state, the appropriation has a recurrent expenditure of N1.239 trillion, representing 41 per cent, and capital expenditure of N1.766 trillion, representing 59 percent of the total budget.
