The Federal Government has declared Monday and Tuesday 12th and 13th respectively as public holidays to mark the 2019 Eid-Al Kabir celebrations.
In a statement signed by the Ministry of Interior’s Director of Press, Mohammed Manga, the Permanent Secretary, Barr Georgina Ekeoma Ehuriah congratulated theMuslim faithfuls and called on Nigerians to use the period of this year’s Eid-Al Kabir celebration ti embrace virtues of love, peac and humility as exemplified by the Holy Prophet Mohammed (PBUH).
She reaffirmed President Buhari’s determination to protect the lives and properties of Nigerians, stating that the security agencies have been directed to ensure the provision of adequate security before, during and after the celebrations.
