At least no fewer than two traditional title holders in Kadarko District of Wase Local Government Council and four accomplices have been e arrested in connection with the current attacks and killings of innocent citizens in Plateau State.
The Chiroma Wadata Arewa, Dindam Bulus Rimkat and Shaltim Ramdur were nabbed alongside one of their commander and three accomplice and arraigned at Upper Area court in Langtang North LGA premises by joint security operatives and the Police Divisional at Wase .
An Langtang North Upper Area Court on Wednesday arraigned the Wadata Arewa for allegedly threatening the life of Tarok speaking natives of Wase LGA.
Shaltim Ramdur and three others are standing trials for conspiracy, threat to life and assault.
Security personnels told the court to take note of the defendant’s support to the rampaging killings .
They alleged that the action was an effort to erase HRH Lot Nden as the second class community traditional ruler from history.
The communities in the LGA who expressed concern that the level of attacks ,kidnapping and ransom payment have been giving them sleepless night were in jubilation and wide excitement over the arrest of Chiroma of Wadata Arewa by security operatives yesterday in Langtang town.
According to the community , the accused persons are members of their community who support the move to unify Tarok speaking natives of Bantu in Central Africa Republic but took the path of crime and criminality to survived
This medium gathered that the accused persons embarked on kidnapping for ransom and used their accomplices to put fire on people’s farmlands to promote clannish agenda of divide and rule .
The suspected accused persons were secretly planning to attack Kadarko District to cause confusion during the farming season.
Meanwhile, the Ponzhi Kadarko District ,HRH .Lot Nden has appealed to the state government to provide security network in Wase LGA to curtail incessant attacks of vulnerable farmers .
He urged the state government to come to the aid of Tarok people of Kadarko community and arrest the criminals trying to cause problem in Tarok land.
