His Royal Majestic (HRM) the Traditional Title Holder of Kadarko Chiefdom of Wase Local Government Area of Plateau State,HRM ,Ponzhi Lot Nden has coronated 10 Fulani Ardos with a called on them to remain committed to the peace building efforts in Wase LGA and Plateau State.
The Ponzhi Lot Nden performed the coronation of nine Ardos of Kadarko Chiefdom and Tsarkin Fulani of Kadarko Chiefdom at the Palace of HRH Chief Lot Nden Ponzi Kadarko 1 where the occasion was witness by sons and daughters of the community.
Recall that Wade Local Government has been one of the epicenter of sectarian violence, bloody conflict that has claimed over 100 lives and destroys of property in the north central state.
Also on hand to perform the coronation exercise was HRM Jesse Miri the District Head of Kirim District in the presense of HRM , Ponzhi Lot Nden with the aimed of promoting peaceful co-existence amongst the diverse ethnic groups in Wase LGA.
The king disclosed that the aimed of the coronation was to promote peaceful co-existence amongst the diverse tribes and religious group in Kadarko Chiefdom and Plateau State.
Ponzhi Lot Nden called on the people to end bloodbath and insecurity in Wase LGA and called on the stakeholders to be their brothers keeper in maintaining togetherness and oneness.
“You would recall that Wase LGA was the first to undergo political crises leading to the death of thousands people and the Ponzhi Kadarko Chiefdom is now working hard to ensure safety of lives and properties of Nigerian, he said.
“The coronation of the 10th Ardos in Kadarko District of Wase LGA is part of the ongoing efforts to encourage and maintain togetherness for which the grand ceremonial coronation of the 10th Ardos of the Ponzhi Kadarko of Wase took place at the Palace.”
Apart from the presence of eminent sons and daughters of the land, other dignitaries, including Wase Emirate Council .
The coronation was followed by the traditional, “Ride of the Ponzhi O’tarok”, the so-called “incarnation and traditional chanting of culture”, before the 10th Ardos of Kadarko,
The delegation managed to gain acceptance from the newly “anointed” head of the Ardos coronation because the stakeholders want to contribute to the strengthening of the Ponzhi Kadarko District political and economic relations with the largest cultural and commercial center of Fulani socio cultural group in the state.
