PDP Senatorial Candidate Pledges to Fulfil Campaign Promises

The People Democratic Party, (PDP) Senatorial Candidate for Plateau Central District of Plateau State, Amb Golkuna Yohanna has promised juicy projects and empowerment to the electorates if elected, adding, he will never betray his conscience in fulfilling his campaign promises to the people.

Yohanna said this while embarking on door to doors campaign going in his senatorial district.

He said his journey into politics was for service delivery and not for personal gain or deception, as he promised to introduce people-oriented projects that can touch the lives of his constituents in Plateau central senatorial district.

The senatorial candidate, who specifically assured electorate and voters in the Plateau central of his commitment to their welfare, urged them not to fall into the antics of the opposition parties.

Yohanna said PDP have people friendly policy of repositioning the country as the administration in one year would affect policy that would revamp the economy, pay pension and salaries of workers regularly.

Yohanna who said he would still do more in the agricultural sector because “our people are predominantly agrarian communities that need the support of government,” urged the electorate to vote for the PDP, which is familial with people-oriented policies.

He further explained that, if elected he would consolidate on the achievements his predecessors to propose and support bills that would touch more on the plight of rural women and skills acquisition programs.

Golkuna Yohanna mentioned education, infrastructure, health, empowerment, rural development, among others as part of his campaign promises for implementation.

He urged the electorate to get their Permanent Voter Cards (PVC) to support him in the coming election and assured them that he will not betray their trust on him.

Yohanna also congratulated the party’s presidential flag bearer, Alh Atiku Abubakar on his campaign train in Plateau state which witnesses a crowd welcome him to Rwang Pam stadium.

He stated that the peaceful conduct during the Atiku /Okowa visit showed that the former Vice President was the party’s popular choice.

According to him, Atiku’s “glittering track record of public service, foresight and grit in party building and administration, and the courage has consistently shown in fighting for the entrenchment of democracy in the country and this would fetch him success in 2023″.

With his democratic credentials, experience, antecedents, and political sagacity, our great party will go into the 2023 contest, confident of victory. As a loyal party member, I remain committed to the party at all times and will always be available to work for its success.”
