The People Democratic Party (PDP) factional leader in Plateau State, Gyang Badung has headed to the Federal High Court, Jos, to obtain an injunction to restrain state party Chairman, Damishi Sango from attending the forthcoming national convention holding in Port Harcourt on December 16
In a press statement made available to this medium by the PRO, Mr Emmanuel Macham in Jos at the weekend, the Badung group said they tend to restrain the other group from any party activities including all actions concerning the national convention
He called on the national caretaker committee of the PDP and National Convention Committee, Abuja,the Plateau State Independent Electoral Commission PLASIEC the Nigerian Police Force, the State Security Service, the NSCDC and INEC to stop recognising/having any dealings or transactions with Damishi Sango led faction, pending the determination of the suit filed by Sango faction at the JMDB court in Jos.
