The People Democratic Party, PDP, Plateau State chapter, Chairman, Damishi Sango has alleged massive thump printed ballot papers are hidden in Government House by the All Progressive Congress, APC.

Sango who stated this while briefing journalists at the state chapter office of the PDP in Plateau state on Tuesday, lamented that the plan of using military service officers deploy from Abuja to effect rigging was made known to them.

He told few journalists that the outright use of already thumb-printed ballot papers, intimidation and harassment of voters at both polling points and collation centres, collusion with electoral and Security agents to cause the late arrival of election materials and deliberate tempering with voting machines are some of the rigging plan by the ruling party ahead of Saturday poll.
Information available to our medium revealed that some of the top PDP stalwarts were amongst the governor monthly payments list and are employed to work as agents to the APC in Saturday elections to perfect the process of getting Lalong return to power.

Sango explained that acting true to their genetic make-ups, and realizing now they may not get the Independent Electoral Commission, (INEC) in the State to dance to their tune of music in some electoral areas, they have kept themselves busy in the last one week at the old Government House, Rayfield perfecting their rigging strategies.

He claimed that he had detailed information on the specific Local Government Areas and locations in the Central Zone where they intend to execute their wicked plans : the Southern Zone, they intend to use the Military to cause fear amongst our people, especially in Shendam and Qua’an Pan Local Government Areas; in the Northern Zone thanksthey plan to cause fear amongst the voters and thereafter smuggle in the already thumb-printed ballot papers,he noted.

“We are equally aware of threats to Civil Servants, especially Directors, Deputy Directors and school principals to go and deliver their areas to Governor Lalong or risk losing their jobs.

“You will recall that last week, I had cause to address you here on political happenings on the Plateau, I was specific on issues bordering on the conduct and outcome of the Presidential and National Assembly elections. I am glad some issues raised were tackled by the Independent National Electoral Commission”he he said .
I must right from the outset say that the national elections were a huge success for the PDP in the state.

Despite the heavy rigging, our party overwhelmingly won the Presidential election. It is our conviction that this particular result and the outcome of the local government elections in October 2018 were a referendum on the Lalong administration.

“We know that no matter their level of desperation and the perfection of their manipulations, unless they receive the cooperation of INEC, their efforts will come to naught. But with INEC also coming under serious public scrutiny we are confident that Governor Lalong and his ruling APC are embarking on a fruitless adventure.

“We are equally confident that the security

personnel in Plateau will not want to embark on any act that will tamper with the already fragile prevailing peace in the State.

Pointing out that building on this outright rejection of Governor Lalong and the ruling APC, we call on the peaceful people of Plateau State to come out enmasse on Saturday, March 9 to vote for Senator Jeremiah Useni.

In an earlier statement few days ago, the APC, urged it’s supporters and people of the state to ignore what it called the antics of the PDP, stating that the past of the party is still hunting it.

investigation shows that some PDP officials are hand in glove with the State government, secretly working for pay for governor Laing’s re-election. Sango drew blank when he was asked the question.
