Adedoyin
The Hope Democratic Party (HDP) Osun state governorship candidate in the governorship election, Wole Adedoyin, has promised to setup efforts to promote and develop tourism in the state once he is elected.
Addressing members of his party during the week, Wole Adedoyin added that he will setup small-scale industries to transform rural areas.
Adedoyin, also promised the people of Osun State that he would develop the tourism industry in the state, which will in turn provide jobs, mainly to the for the youths.
Adedoyin said Osun State has many tourists attractions which include Oluminrin Waterfall (Erin-Ijesha), Oranmiyan Staff(Opa Oranmiyan), Suzanne Wenger’s House and Centre, Okonfo Rao Kawawa, Obalufon Shrine, Atamora Rock Scenery (Iwo), Atamora Rock Scenery (Iwo), Ayinkunkun Nigba Waterfall (Oke Ila), Kiriji War Site (Igbajo), Erile Shrine (Ilobu), Mbari Mbayo Heritage etc.
According to him “We hope to renovate and enhance the appearance of these tourists’ attractions and build 1 or 2 mini hotels around some of them with the intention of increasing the IGR of the state.
